The event I chose was the Monday (the 3rd) seminar given by Mr. Mehrzad Borojerdi entitled, “Four Tumultuous Decades of American Iranian Relations”. I plan to write about the U.S. going forward and how to understand our dynamic with the very complicated structure of the Iranian government. My main point of focus will be our standing on the issue since the recent assassination of Iran Gen. Soleimani just over four weeks ago.

Mr. Borojerdi is the head of Public and International Affairs at Virginia Tech and was formerly at Syracuse University.
